Clients can’t hire you if they can’t see you.

Let’s change that.

JOIN SAFE TO BE SEEN & BRING YOUR BUSINESS OUT OF HIDING 🪞🩵✨

Healing Practitioners and Business Owners

You didn’t get into business to talk about the work you do.

You got into business to do the work you are here to do.

Your sessions are magical, so why does marketing feel sticky and icky?

Your brain rattles with thoughts like . . .

  • I know my work changes lives… so why is it so hard to talk about it?

  • If I show up more, I’ll say the wrong thing. People will get mad at me.

  • Who am I to do this? Am I even allowed to take up space?

  • With everything going on in the world, are my offers meaningless right now?

  • I want more clients, but posting, networking and “touch-backs” make me wanna crawl in a hole.

  • Why can’t I just post online? What’s wrong with me?! So many other people do this easily! I’m impressed and I secretly kind of despise their success.

  • I want a sustainable practice, but I don’t want to boss-babe to get there. It feels hopeless.

  • I’ve been burned before in business and healing spaces, and I don’t know who I can trust.

THIS IS ME AND I NEED HELP 🩵

I won’t lie—(sh)it‘s hard right now in biz world and the real world.

The business landscape has changed, and your nervous system has probably changed with it.

Most business owners and healing practitioners I know are on the verge of burnout.

Clients are showing up with unsolvable problems, like the weight of the collective polycrises.

It’s harder to keep up and cut through the noise with our e-mails, posts and threads.

And it can feel like we’re failing when our offers don’t fill (even though we are not to blame).

I can’t promise Safe To Be Seen will solve any of the unsolvable problems. But it will help you adapt to the current times.

Take me, for example.

Earlier this year, my annual signature training, Trauma-Informed Foundations, wasn’t filling.

Like, wasn’t filling to the point I told my amazing Business Wizard:

“I think I need to cancel Foundations!”

There would have been no shame in cancelling it, although of course I would have felt those twisty pangs of alleged failure.

But I decided to pivot, and I pivoted hard.

I increased the payment plan to 10 months (even though I had just shortened payment plans to better support me).

I kept posting and e-mailing.

Did I want to throw up a little and slink away when I realized I had posted 52 times (!!!!!)—Yes, I sure did

I heard the inner voice criticizing me for posting so many times about trauma-informed care, which is not supposed to be overwhelming or fast-paced.

I wanted to be a person who could share one sole photo of my hand with a tender fall leaf and have a program fill, but there I was sharing a billion reels and carousels and everything I thought people might need to know to decide whether Foundations was for them.

The voice kept judging (hypocrite! sellout! loser!), but I kept posting.

Because that’s what it took to reach the people meant to learn with me.

The class filled. Almost every single person used the long term payment plan. Which they needed. And that supported me well, since I had more folks at a lower monthly rate. (I almost failed algebra, but as it turns out, so much of biz is about math!)

I strengthened my resolve to not be the problem when a launch isn’t working out.

To talk back to the voice that whispers to me that I’m a no-good sell-out. “Have you ever heard of marketing?!” I ask the voice. “Look it up!” 💅

Since then, a few of my groups have needed more time to fill. That will happen, especially right now. But I don’t want me or that mean girl voice to be the reason why.

To keep that promise to myself, I have grown more comfortable with being seen through a flurry or steady dose of posts and e-mails, reach-outs and reminders, asks for help spreading the word, and courage to keep going.

I used to send 2 e-mails and make 3 posts and then say: “It’s not working!”

Now I keep working in case it will actually work, and spoiler: usually it does.

The work we do together in Safe To Be Seen will help you get the visibility your work needs. The world needs your work—please don’t give up.🩵

Business visibility is challenging when:

🌀 The algorithm is ever-changing

⚡ The collective news cycle is loud and urgent

😬 We feel shaky about showing up

Safe To Be Seen will help you get the visibility your work deserves, in a way your body and values can sustain.

Here’s how.

This is not a basic boss-babe business offering!

In Safe To Be Seen:

You don’t have to choose between being ethical and being profitable.

This work pairs visibility expansion and marketing magic with ethical sales strategies and trauma-informed marketing practices.

Business success isn’t just about showing up; it’s about showing up congruently.

So your marketing matches the magic you deliver to clients — and you feel good enough to keep selling, showing up consistently.

Nervous system capacity is a business skill.

When you feel safe enough to be seen, you can sell, market, and grow without burning out or repeating post-ghost, feast-famine cycles.

We know not everyone is safe to be truly seen.

In this space, we respect identities marginalized and oppressed by the overculture, and we hold ideas of “safety” and “visibility” with care, as they are politicized and privileged in this world and in business.

Our Safe To Be Seen live calls and community Slack space will follow group agreements designed to cultivate: dignity for all, no room for hate, asks before offering unsolicited advice, honoring identities and pronouns, and more trauma-informed and intersectional agreements as our group needs them. This is a relational space where we will fumble towards authentic connection. Along the way, misunderstandings and ruptures may occur, and we will navigate them to the best of our ability. No perfection needed, and no free passes either.

SAY YES TO FEELING SAFER TO BE SEEN 🪞🩵✨

At the end of our 6 months together, you will be:

  • Showing up in marketing exactly as you are with clients; congruent, grounded, and real.

  • Booking new consults from content you actually enjoyed creating!

  • Navigating feedback, low engagement, or “visibility hangovers” with heaps of self-compassion and without disappearing for weeks.

  • Clear on a marketing plan that is sustainable and doable for your brain, capacity and business (you don’t even need to use social media!).

  • Reaching for nervous system practices that ground you when you start to wobble.

  • Able to clearly name which part(s) of your self and trauma history you want to make public, and which need to stay private. And you’ll know this won’t sacrifice sales; it will build consent and trust.

  • Feeling more available for reciprocal connection, and less braced for disconnection, rejection or misunderstanding.

I'M READY TO FEEL THIS🪞🩵✨
  • “I have been a facilitator for years but it wasn’t until recently that I realized some of the terminology and the ways I was approaching things were getting under my own skin. If my job is to provide a safe and supportive space for others I knew I had to educate myself. I was absolutely dumbfounded at how simple and transformative the practices within the program were.”

Sara, Breathworker & Trauma Informed Student

  • "The SSP experience has been tender and open; a gentle space to land each week and spend intentional time tending to my nervous system. I relax and my breath deepens as I arrive into this unique space with an open invitation to find the experience I need that day with the music and the group, but no expectation to do so in a specific way."

    SSP Client

  • "My session with Jess was such a beautiful catalyst to further healing within myself: she gently supported me in realizing that part of being a trauma-informed massage therapist is creating the conditions where I, too, can feel safer and more present. This was just one of several lightbulb moments in our consultation, which really helped me get clarity on how I want to grow in my trauma-informed practices."

    Mel Meder, Massage Therapist

  • “Part of what I loved about the SSP was Jess’s invitation to show up exactly as we were. Just before SSP began, I experienced some trauma in a group setting and felt hesitant about the group dynamic of this process. I was able to show up completely nonverbal and in tears the first day, and felt warmth and welcomed in this experience."

    SSP Client, 1 of 2

  • "As the weeks progressed, I was able to connect outward more to other members of the group as my nervous system allowed, and even initiated conversations and cracked some jokes! The SSP was healing on multiple levels for me, and this group dynamic was just one slice of the pie.”

    SSP Client, 2/2

  • “I've already noticed that the way that I'm speaking with and writing to clients is indeed starting to shift for the better. And I feel good knowing that I have a solid toolkit for this work that I can continue to use as I grow my practice.”

Olivia LaBarre, Animal Communicator & Reiki Practitioner

  • “The guide is beautifully presented, easy to follow and has helped me personally and in my role as a youth worker. It has helped me to recognize thoughts and feelings on a much deeper level.”

Amanda T. on the Spiritual Bypassing Guide, It’s Not All Good

  • “It has helped me to gain a deeper understanding of spiritual bypassing and how to hold a safer container of space for others in my work.”

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Safe To Be Seen is a six-month hybrid group + 1:1 program for healers, helpers, and business owners who want to grow their revenue and client base by becoming consistently visible — without burning out, freezing, or abandoning themselves in the process.

I will help you through strategic and trauma-informed marketing teachings, somatic sessions and coaching, and opportunities to practice being seen in real time — so you’re not just getting advice, you’re getting what you need to integrate it.

  • Safe To Be Seen is group and 1:1 program, so you can experience individual support from me, and group connections.

You are invited to join us each month for:

    • Somatic Group Coaching (hot seat style, but I loathe that name and the boss babe energy that usually comes with it) twice monthly

    • Co-Working and Co-Regulation once a month, to check things off your list in a supportive setting

    • Monthly 60 minute Somatic and Strategic Session with me

    • Slack space for connection, community and accountability. No tough love, but I will be hanging out Tuesday-Thursday and answering questions, offering feedback, sharing dog photos and memes, and hosting gentle visibility challenges.

  • Safe To Be Seen is limited to just 16 folks so that I have time and attention to be present with our group, and you have opportunities to build connections within our group.

The number of folks who join our Slack Space, Group Coaching Calls and Co-Working and Co-Regulation Calls will likely vary.

  • I get that. It can be really vulnerable to bring our business and visibility struggles to a group.

    This is why:

    • I’ll always make space for folks to show up in the ways that work for them; cameras on or off, speaking up or chatting in; sharing anonymously, etc.

    • We’ll strive to foster a container where we can all be beginners together, and honor the wisdom we bring at the same time.

    • If group engagement isn’t your cup of tea, you can join me for a monthly 1:1 Somatic and Strategy Session.

  • I can’t promise this will be a safe space. (But you know how people say that as an excuse to cause harm because then if you feel hurt it’s all on you? Ew and rest assured, I am not doing that.)

I am committed to being a compassionate presence, honoring impact over intention, and holding the boundaries our container needs to honor everyone in it.

Please see a bit about our Group Agreements on this sales page (4 sections above with a light green background color) to make sure this feels like the right space for you.

And if you know I am not the right guide for you (there are so many reasons for that, my whiteness being one of them), I trust your choice.

  • I imagine we will have a group with many levels of business, client and marketing experience.

Many folks will be new to digital marketing and seasoned in their healing work. Others will be experienced in both and struggling with low engagement, “visibility hangovers” and losing their authentic voice.

If you are not sure if Safe To Be Seen is the right fit for you, please reach out. I won’t recommend it if I don’t think it will be supportive for you.

  • You can still join us! So many of us are moving away from social media, or navigating being on social media less.

I hold a wide view of social media engagement and marketing.

    • You can create a nine-grid that leads to your newsletter or website without posting all of the time.

    • You can pick one platform (Instagram, TikTok, Threads, BlueSky, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.) and share content from newsletters or blogs.

    • You can avoid social media marketing altogether. I can still help you with marketing, messaging and visibility in general. Not to mention the vulnerability hangovers that come with it, no matter where or how you share.

  • Hopefully when our last integration zoom closes, you’ll feel readier than ever to offer trauma informed care. Perhaps you’ll have a handful of best practices to incorporate into your business both during sessions and in your marketing and communication materials. You might have deeper compassion and understanding for your client’s post-trauma responses (without needing to do trauma resolution, if that’s outside of your scope). I hope you’ll feel nourished on a nervous system level, committed to your own care and affirmed in what you’ve been doing beautifully all along.

  • Yes of course! There are 6 and 9 month payment plans with no fees or penalties.

You can also pay in full.

There are no bonuses for paying in full because while I understand why people offer them (needing more money sooner, so valid!), I don’t believe in them.

  • Due to the nature of this digital offer, there are no refunds. And once payment plans have been initiated, they cannot be cancelled.

  • Feel free to reach out via e-mail: hello at softpathhealing dot com.

We can chat and I’ll do my best to answer. No sales pitch or pressure, just deep listening and a transparent offer of the info you need.
