Tools for Trauma Informed Business
These are my honest recommendations (and Iโll let you know what I donโt love about each one). I have affiliate links for some of these (denoted with an *), which means Iโll make a small percentage if you purchase through my link and itโs no extra cost to you. I wonโt recommend anything I donโt actually like or use, and will update this list as things change.
CONVERTKIT*
Sure, the graphic design isnโt as beautiful as Flodesk (cโmon, Convertkit, we believe in you!), but the automation capabilities are awesome. If you want to automate course welcomes, build nurture sequences, schedule launch sequences and more โ Convertkit is a wonderful platform with great customer support just a chat away.
TEACHABLE*
Cheaper than Kajabi, and offers a smooth course building experience. It also integrates with Convertkit (super handy), as well as Circle, their virtual community platform. In my opinion, Teachable is worth the investment. You have access to reports (so you can see studentsโ progress), and itโs super easy to drag and drop your course or program content so everything is digestible and organized for your students. So trauma-informed, right? We love to see it!
CANVA
Everyone is using Canva, right?! For graphic design, instagram posts, web design components โ Canva is awesome. I love pro, but the free version will likely work for you for a long time, too!
WAVE APP
This is the accounting software I use. Eventually Iโll outgrow it, but itโs free and works so well. It can be quirky to figure out in the beginning (setting up your books), but for a free accounting software? I have no complaints. Itโs easy to use once your chart of accounting ducks are all in a row. You can pull up reports, reconcile, track receipts and even do invoicing.
SOFT PATH HEALING
Can I list my offerings as a resource? I always hope to be a resource for you, and if Iโm not the right fit for your trauma informed needs, Iโm happy to make referrals to folks who might be a better match for what youโre needing.
